We have a member of staff and pupils in school with SEVERE nut allergies, including AIRBORNE allergies, and your kind co-operation would be greatly appreciated by ensuring your child brings only fruit or vegetables for their mid-morning snack. Provision of fruit for Reception and all Key Stage 1 pupils will continue as before. For the safety of these individuals, we request that nut products are not included in children’s lunch boxes.

At certain times of the year, items of cake or confectionery come into the school. As many manufacturers of shop bought products cannot guarantee they have been made in a nut-free environment, only items which have been home baked without nuts, chocolate or biscuits will be safe.
