Art and Design Textiles and Collage
In our art block this term, we explored colour, texture and pattern by combining textiles and collage. We looked at the work of Faith Ringgold to further enhance our work. We had fun experimenting what happens when water is added to water-based pens on coffee filter paper, dyed fabric, created our own collagraph blocks for printing, created mandala designs on our collages and even painted our own designs on fabric.
