Welcome back after Christmas. We have got a fun-filled half term ahead.

This month we have been looking at Winter. The children have been busy exploring Antarctica with their continuous provision linked to the theme. The children really enjoyed making their own snowmen with loose parts as well as some secret writing. Please look at the photos below to see some action shots. 

Koala Class have also loved exploring light and dark. They loved taking a torch and exploring shadows with it. 

February

This month, we've been exploring celebrations. We celebrated Chinese New Year by exploring its foods, making Chinese symbols, and telling the story of the great Chinese animal race. We also made Valentine's hearts for our loved ones and explored what love is through mindfulness.
