School Day

Children should arrive between 8:45am and 8:55am. The gate is closed promptly at 8.55am in order for teaching and learning to begin at 9:00am. The children complete Early Bird work until 9.30am which are short, focussed Mathematics and English activities to work through from 8:45am so it is essential your children arrive as quickly as possible. 

Please avoid parking at the school gates as this can be dangerous for children walking to school. 

Arriving on time is very important for your child to settle before the lesson starts and to ensure registration is accurate for safety reasons. Being late does upset your child and we do not want them to miss out on any valuable teaching and learning time. 

Please contact the school office if you are running late to collect your child or if someone different is collecting your child/children from school. Children need to be collected promptly at 3:25pm, unless attending after-school clubs.
