Ofsted and Performance Data

Ofsted inspect providers across education, children’s services and further education and skills and tell you what they find in their inspection reports.

A typical inspection has one or more inspectors visiting a provider to find out about them. The inspection will follow a framework and report on particular aspects of the provision.

After the inspection we are told what they find out in our inspection reports.

The government will not publish KS2 school level data for the 2021 to 2022 academic year. They have archived data from the 2018 to 2019 academic year because they recognise that the data from that year may no longer reflect current performance.

We are delighted to share our Ofsted report following the inspection on 11th and 12th October 2023. We are very proud of the report as it reflects the hard work and commitment of the whole Thomas Eaton community. Please read the report below.

Ofsted and Parent view:

Parent View gives you the chance to tell Ofsted what you think about your child’s school, from the quality of teaching, to dealing with bullying and poor behaviour.

Ofsted will use the information you provide when making decisions about which schools to inspect, and when.

This can be done any time during the academic year.

Performance Data (KS2)

On 11th December 2014, the statistical first release of the National Curriculum assessments at key stage 2 in England, 2014 (revised) and the 2014 key stage 2 primary school performance tables were published.

The statistical first release gives national and local authority level data on attainment and progress of children at the end of key stage 2. They can be found here. You will need to populate the school postcode on the search.

The 2017 key stage 2 primary school performance tables provide information on the achievements and progress of schools and their pupils at the end of the 2016/17 school year. The tables can also be used to compare a school’s performance nationally, within a local authority area, and with similar schools.
