What Do We Do?

The PTA is a registered charity run by a group of interested parents, carers and teachers from the school who are involved in raising funds and arranging social activities for the children.
These events and the support from the members help to promote a feeling of community within the school. Funds raised help with the ‘extras' needed to help our children thrive. It is very informal and new members and supporters are ALWAYS needed in order for the PTA to continue and survive in the future.
Examples of How funds are spent
  • Trips to The Science Museum in London, Woburn Safari Park and Church Farm (Academic year 2014/15)
  • Coaches to Bowl2Day to take part in their inter-school challenge (Academic year 2014/15)
  • A whole school trip to The Cresset Theatre in Peterborough to see a performance of the Beauty and the Beast pantomime. (Academic year 2013/14)
  • Provide the crackers for the children to have to accompany their Christmas lunch.
  • Funding a mobile planetarium to come into school. (Academic year 2013/14)
