Admissions

Parents are invited to contact the School Office and make an appointment with the Headteacher to discuss the admission of children to the school.

Parents will then be directed to the local authority admissions team, who manage all admissions to the school.

There is a planned admission number (PAN) of 30 children each year.

Oversubscription Criteria:

Children who have a statement of Special Educational Needs that names the school will be admitted. Those children with a statement of special educational needs that does not name the school will be referred to the Statutory Assessment and Resources Team (START) to determine an appropriate place.

  • Children in Care, also known as Looked After Children (LAC), and children who were looked after but ceased to be so by reason of adoption, a resident order or special guardianship order.
  • Children living in the catchment area with a sibling at the school at the time of admission.

  • Children living in the catchment area.

  • Children living outside the catchment area who have a sibling at the school at the time of admission.

  • Children living outside the catchment area who have been unable to gain a place at their catchment area school because of oversubscription.

  • Children who live outside the catchment area, but closest to the school as measured by a straight line.

In cases of equal merit in each set of criteria, priority is given to children living closest to the school as measured by a straight line.

Please call in or contact the school office for more information.

Please refer to our Admissions Policy.
